INJURIES CANNOT STOP HEROES Part 2: Lionel Messi, The Sultan of Soccer.

 

             


There is nothing that this man ,Lionel Messi, has not achieved in the Beautiful Game of Football, the world's most popular sport. But it is not that he did not go through his fair share of injuries throughout his glorious career. Let's go through the list of injuries that he suffered that is available in the public domain.

  1. 2006 Metatarsal Fracture:

    • Messi suffered a metatarsal fracture in his left foot during the 2005-2006 season, sidelining him for several months. Treatment likely involved immobilization of the foot, followed by rehabilitation exercises.
  2. 2007 Muscle Injuries:

    • During the 2006-2007 season, Messi struggled with various muscle injuries, including strains and pulls, causing him to miss several matches. Treatment likely involved physiotherapy, rest, and strengthening exercises.
  3. 2009 Hamstring Injuries:

    • Messi experienced hamstring injuries during the 2008-2009 season, leading to brief spells on the sidelines. Treatment would have included rest, physiotherapy, and gradual return to training.
  4. 2013 Hamstring Injuries:
